Terms & Conditions
Everything you need to know before you travel with us
01
Booking Policy
Every Nesta Ira Trails journey is intentionally small — between 6 to 8 travelers per trail. Because of this, seats fill up quickly, particularly for seasonal departures like Kedarnath. We recommend booking early.
Booking Deposit
A non-refundable deposit 50% of the total trail fee is required at the time of reservation. This confirms your seat and allow us to begin all ground arrangements on your behalf for accommodation, guide allocation, temple access, darshan scheduling, and logistics.
Balance Payment
The remaining 50% is due no later than 20 days before your departure date. Bookings made within 20 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.
After your booking is confirmed
Once your deposit is received, you will get a booking confirmation along with a detailed brief covering what to expect. what to pack, how to reach the starting point and anything specific to prepare for your journey
For the Kedarnath trail, this will include altitude acclimatisation guidance and fitness recommendations.
Group & Private Bookings
If you are booking as a couple or small group, the deposit applies per person. For private trail enquiries or custom journey requests, write to us at holiday@nestaira.com and we will be happy to work something out.
02

Kedarnath — Special Clause
Due to the logistical complexity and advance commitments required for high-altitude trail operations, cancellations for the Kedarnath trail within 30 days of departure retain 50% of the total trail fee regardless of the standard cancellation tier. Comprehensive travel insurance including emergency evacuation cover is strongly recommended for this trail and is considered essential, not optional.
Force Majeure
In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control including natural disasters, extreme weather, government advisories, road or route closures, temple closures, or certified medical emergencies Nesta Ira will reschedule at no penalty to the traveler. Refunds under Force Majeure are considered on a case by case basis.
If We Cancel
In the rare event that Nesta Ira Trails must cancel a confirmed departure, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, or the option to transfer to an alternate departure date at no additional cost. We will notify you as early as possible and do everything we can to find a suitable alternative.
03
